Alexa Rosenblum, MS, CGC

Alexa is currently a cancer genetic counselor at the Banner University of Arizona Cancer Center, and sees patients with all types of cancers as well as family histories of cancer. Alexa grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where she first discovered her interest for genetics as a high school student. She then moved to Tucson, Arizona where she received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Spanish after just 3 years. In her time at the University of Arizona, she spent time in Spain where she completed the requirements to be fluent in Spanish. After graduating from the U of A, Alexa took 2 years to strengthen her genetic counseling resume, including volunteering with genetic counselors, volunteering at carrier screening events, volunteering at a pregnancy crisis center, and shadowing several genetic counselors in multiple specialties. She also attended day-long genetic counseling bootcamp events in both Utah and Texas.
