Anna Vercruyssen, MS, CGC

Clinical Supervisor

Anna Vercruyssen is a board-certified cancer genetic counselor at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. Anna is originally from the Pacific Northwest and earned her Bachelor of Science in Integrated Biology with a focus in Marine Biology from Oregon State University in 2014. Following graduation, she worked as a medical assistant in a podiatry clinic and then as a residency coordinator for the Oregon Health & Science University Family Medicine Residency program. Anna completed her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling at the University of Michigan in 2020. Her thesis project focused on exploring how genetic counseling programs forecast and adapt their didactic curricula to fit the changing environment of the genetic counseling profession. Anna is passionate about medical education and training, as well as community education and engagement around genetic testing.
