Maureen Kelly Galindo, MS, RN

Maureen is a pediatric genetics nurse with Banner University Medical Center in Tucson. She assesses children with special health care needs, providing individualized education and counseling to the families according to diagnosis. She acts as a clinical resource for patients, families, physicians and other healthcare providers on the multidisciplinary team. Maureen has expertise in pediatric neurocutaneous, neuromuscular, hematologic and other rare genetic conditions affecting children. She is also as the Research Data Manager in the Division of Genetics and Development, at the University of Arizona, Department of Pediatrics. In this role she manages research projects and mentors students and professionals through research endeavors.
